Classics Netball Club



Training for the 2017 season is held EVERY WEDNESDAY (excluding public & school holidays - this is at the discretion of each coach so please check with YOUR coach or team manager)
Junior Yr 7-8s:  6pm to 7.30pm
Junior Yr 9-12 Teams 5 to 12: 6pm to 7.30pm
OPEN Teams & Junior Teams 1 to 4: 7.30pm to  9pm

PLEASE check with your coach regularly for updates and any changes to times or locations

Classics will be conducting trials for NEW 2018 players for the Year 7/8s age group in August / September 2017 to allow us to identify and confirm which players we can take in 2018.  

SIBLINGS and DAUGHTERS of past players and coaches will be given preference however they will need to register by the due date of 10 August.

Before your daughter can be offered a position as a player with Classics in 2018 we ask that you provide the following information.

As Classics is a club run by volunteers please tell us what commitment each parent will be making to assist the club in 2018,  Eg coach, team manager, umpire, other volunteer role?

  • Date of Birth
  • School & Year attending in 2018
  • School or Club playing with in 2017, division or grade and team name/number
  • Three preferred playing positions - from GS GA WA C WD GD GK
  • If PNA or Perth Lions Development player - if so what team ?
  • If parent willing to coach, umpire or manage team - if so what experience as coach, umpire or player

Please be aware we cannot confirm if we will have many vacancies at all in 2018 as we take existing players, siblings and past players daughters first, however we hope to be able to decide how many new players  we can take and whom before the end of this year

As the club is run by volunteers we will also take into consideration what commitment you as a player and/or parent will be making to the club in 2018 e.g. Coach / manager/ selector/ uniforms / equipment / grading committee / or other roles.


Classics Netball Club is associated with Perth Netball Association's winter netball competition for seniors & juniors, at Matthews Netball Centre corner Selby Street & Salvado Road Wembley.

The winter season runs from end April through to mid September with our registration days and trials taking place early in February.

Classics train on Wednesday nights at Matthews Netball Centre with most juniors training at 6.00pm to 7.30pm and seniors at 7.30pm to 9.00pm.

If you have not yet registered with a club or school to play at Matthews Netball Centre and would like to join a club please email   ASAP to confirm if we have any vacancies for you to join. 

  KidSport Registration Fee Initiative








Sport 4 All is a new $20 million state government initiative,which aims to build stronger, healthier, happier and safer communities!  The initiative has four parts, KidSport, Community Volunteer Project  ClubTalk and Nature Play WA.

KidSport will assist eligible families to receive up to $200 annually for each of their children aged between 5 – 18 years, to subsidise fees to join a sport and recreation club.
